Information for Teachers
Each section contains FIVE Teachers Resource Packs. Start with Section One and you will see all the activities for every page, making the learning fun and complete.
On page 13 of the book is the Wondrous Words Game. I recommend that this is played at the end of every Section, along with the crosswords and word searches. As a reading exercise the class can read out the instructions and the teachers can explain.
I also recommend that you prepare A4 size display sheets of the words in a section, to have them displayed at times in the classroom.
In Part One – Match the Words - on every list of activities there are the ten words with the definitions underneath. Before doing this, look at and read the page from the book and listen as a class to the Pronunciation for that page.
Also included for Students are Workbooks in which they complete the exercises for every page.
Finally, I recommend that every child start a New Words book in which they have a page for every letter of the alphabet. They write the new words from the WWWW books and any other words that they find in different subjects. Next to the words they must write the definition.
